When you are networking remember that first impressions count. Your energy, attitude, body language, dress, and smile all make a difference. When talking with anyone, look them in the eye and make them feel like they are the most important person in the room. Try to use their name as much as possible. If they feel like you are trying to find out how best to help them they will return the favor.
