Visitation is a perfect time to learn how to cross promote!
During visitations, take the time to learn how to refer business to the business you’re visiting. Try to get at least three scenarios of ways to refer business to them. Make sure you’re introduced to the staff and sales force of the business you’re visiting, too. Having the workforce know you, will generate additional referral business. If you have a newsletter, client survey or customer appreciation program, use these marketing tools to promote from within your chapter. Cross promotion builds everyone's business!
