As the CEO of LeTip, I am constantly traveling, training and visiting chapters. In the past year, I have been from one end of this continent to the other, and I have met amazing people along the way.
I have been inspired by tiny, new chapters with incredible resilience and a gut level determination to succeed and grow. I have broken bread with enormous and impressive chapters which run like clockwork; the members passing huge numbers of Tips and the energy in the room so invigorating that I am left speechless. I have spent time with chapters whose membership has been decimated by job loss and the economy, yet who refuse to give in to doom and gloom reported everyday.
These types of chapters have something that goes well beyond the ordinary. They have members with a spirited glow; a true spark! Their positive perspective makes everyone around them feel better, more confident, more optimistic.
Where, and how, do people get this spark? It comes from their hearts, and from a personal commitment to themselves to do the best they can every day, and tomorrow do it just a little bit better. And perhaps even more importantly, it comes from a deep wellspring of goodness. These are people who not only want to be good, but to also do good.
Each one of us has the ability to light our own spark. And even if our spark is new and tiny, when gathered together, we can light up a room, a town and a country!
